What CD Combo for a Pregnant Woman Expecting a C-Section?
After 4 miscarriages, my sister is pregnant and must have a C-section. Your pregnancy/childbirth CDs focus on vaginal birth. What can I give her? ..
Dearest Belleruth,
I love your CDs and Mp3 downloads. They have been so helpful to my family in so many ways.
My sister is now pregnant after 4 miscarriages in 3 years. According to all the pre-natal testing, the baby is healthy, strong and free of any possible congenital abnormalities. Nevertheless, my dear sister is (understandably) "waiting for the other shoe to drop". What CD''s would you recommend?
I ask this because due to prior complications, she must have a scheduled C-section. The pregnancy and childbirth CD appears to be focused on vaginal birth. I want to honor her reality and provide her with a program that will support her confidence in her body.
Many Blessings,
Terry K., Chiropractor
Hi, Terry.
Thanks for the warm words and congratulations to you and your sister! Certainly no one could blame her for being anxious and worried, after all she''s been through.
I would recommend she listen to the first CD from our pregnancy/childbirth CD, which should help her get a little calmer, give her back some of her battered optimism, and also give her a sense that she''s actively doing something to help ensure a wonderful outcome.
And then, a couple of weeks before her C-section, she can start listening to the Surgery imagery instead of the second CD in the set on Childbirth. She might want to alternate this surgery CD with the pregnancy imagery. That will suit her specific circumstances perfectly.
All best wishes to you both!
Belleruth
