Casey,
Thank you thank you thank you backatcha. Can you fill us in on (generally - no need to blow anyone's cover) what, where and how this has become evident to you?? The more stories from the field, the better we all learn.
All best,
BR - Belleruth

Hello...they asked that I convey their thanks once again. They said to let you know that they understand the irony and they agree wholeheartedly with your concern and work with these recently returned folks. You reminded them of something Vernon Howard said..."a mind living in a prison of its own making has the ability to become its own key to liberty." And as I keep reminding them (and myself), "it isn't over 'til the fat lady sings!"....so "pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and start all over again". Many regards to each of you! - Barbara Belton, M.S., M.S.

Barbara,
Actually, these interventions were initially developed for Vietnam Vets, and they generally do very well with them - WWII vets as well. Ironically, we were more concerned about impact on recently returned troops, not the ones with the seasoned PTS from years ago, but they do fine too!! So absolutely tell your older vets that there's no reason to think they won't do well with this - just be patient and take it slow ... or at whatever pace best suits them!

Hello BR,
Hearing back today from the vets in our lives who we forwarded this to saying thankyou again for this info. A couple of the Viet Nam vets and a WWII vet who are still struggling with their ptsd (especially the anger) have asked if they are too old or too layered under old scar tissue to benefit from the CD's you mentioned. I said I would forward the question to you. Thanks again! bb - Barbara Belton, M.S., M.S.
