Hey, folks,

The three new Health Journeys CDs I recorded last month are being duplicated even as we speak.  There’s been an especially strong back-order run on Help with Caregiver Stress and A Guided Meditation to Support a Healthy Immune System, with Help with Allergies bringing up the rear.  They should be ready in a couple of weeks.

I also want to mention some training opportunities for practitioners interested in mind-body courses:

Imagery International, along with Beyond Ordinary Nursing is hosting its popular annual conference this year on July 17-19 at Vallombrosa Center in Menlo Park, CA.  This is the ideal place for practitioners of the art to hone skills, network and have a terrific time.

The theme is Riding the Tides of Change: Using Imagery as a Powerful Tool for Transformation in Good Times and Bad.  Featured speakers will be Terry Reed, Jann Fredrickson, Andrew Wagner, Margo Adair and many other luminaries in the field.  For more info or to register, click here or call 651.208.6458.

The ever-productive Dr. Ruth Buczynski of NICABM has just posted a new batch of classy, informative, cutting edge, online distance learning modules with top leaders in the field.  Do your professional development without leaving home!  May courses include Ron Siegel’s Mindfulness & Psychotherapy, Bill O’Hanlon’s Ericksonian Hypnosis, Maggie Phillips’ Energy Psychology and Kathleen Brehony’s Personal Coaching.  Check it out – click here.

And Jim Gordon’s Center for Mind Body Medicine is offering a double-header of their two most popular training programs – Food as Medicine, and CancerGuides II  – both on June 11-14 at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington DC.

OK, take care and be well.

All best,

I couldn't quickly find the previous blog feed when you asked for new CD titles and since this posting announces your most recent additions, I thought I would put in a suggestion for a future title: Dizziness. I work with people with chronic dizziness and vertigo and wondered if that might be a possible future addition to your series? I'm looking forward to hearing and recommending these new ones. Thanks for all of your hard work in this field and in your promotion of mind-body medicine.

Hi, Matt.
Actually, those suggestions were posted here, mostly: http://belleruthnaparstek.com/...ext.html/. We need to find a way to make it easier for people to find old pages! Thanks for the reminder.
The problem with doing a generic imagery narrative for dizziness is that it's a symptom for something else, and there are so many possible something elses, I wouldn't be able to do one valid set of images for all of them... But please keep those suggestions ocming. We're still pondering the 150 we got, so it's a good time to put your 2 cents in.
Thanks.

2cents- future imagery.... preparing for and recovering from transplant(liver)surgery-perhaps it could be a 2 cd set so key organ(s) could have directed tracks? no clue if viable...

oops- forgot the other half of my comment;
is the new immune CD appropriate for over active (autoimmune syndromes/problems)and would provide balance regardless of immune issue (sort of like an adoptgen herbal remedy)?; sounds like the allergy CD does that? thanks much Belleruth
